Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent education/experience.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in project coordination, program support, education, workforce development, or related fields.
• Experience supporting donor-funded or grant-funded projects, including tracking deliverables and reporting.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams across cultures and geographies.
• Proficiency with common office and collaboration tools (spreadsheets, document management, virtual meeting platforms).
• Interest in conservation, education, and inclusive learning approaches.

Responsibilities

• Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables; flag risks or delays and support corrective actions.
• Coordinate meetings, workshops, and learning activities, including scheduling, agendas, notes, and follow-up actions.
• Maintain organized project documentation and shared resources.
• Coordinate with CI field offices, key stakeholders, and ASU partners to support delivery of project activities.
• Support tracking and reporting of participant engagement, including CI staff, students, and practitioners.
• Assist with gathering feedback and lessons learned from learning activities to inform continuous improvement.
• Maintain and update the project’s performance tracking system, in coordination with project leadership and MEL colleagues.
• Support regular updates to the project MEL Plan, including documenting changes to indicators, data sources, and learning questions.
• Assist with data collection, organization, and synthesis for MEL activities, including tracking participation, outputs, and outcomes related to conservation education and workforce development.
• Support preparation of MEL inputs for donor reports, presentations, and internal learning products.
• Support implementation of project communications strategies in coordination with CI communications staff and project leadership.
• Maintain and update project-based web platforms and knowledge-sharing spaces, such as the Navigator site, ensuring content is current and accessible.
• Draft and edit content for internal and external communications, including newsletters, blog posts, and social media posts.
• Assist with documenting and sharing stories, insights, and learning from place-based education activities.
