The role administers the fleet system, coordinates repairs, maintains registrations, supports budgeting, and develops SOPs with the Safety Manager. It involves hands-on maintenance tasks and occasional travel to remote areas, requiring a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in fleet management, logistics, mechanics, or related fields.
• Experience supervising staff, contractors, or vendors, including assigning work and providing feedback.
• Familiarity with safety standards, inspections, and regulatory compliance related to fleet operations.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the organization’s fleet management system, including scheduling and use of vehicles and monitoring maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for timely repairs and servicing, and maintain records.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for vehicle use, maintenance, and safety.
• Manage the full insurance claims process for fleet vehicles and report incidents.
