Job summary

The Southern California Mountains Foundation is seeking a part-time UCCIE Corpsmember to support conservation and recycling projects across its Inland Empire programs. The role focuses on hands-on fieldwork, trail upkeep, and community environmental service with an emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Aged 18-26 and resident of Coachella, CA within the Prospera Plan area.
• Able to perform extensive and repetitive physical activities.
• Willing and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Able to participate in Spike trips (multi-day/overnight assignments).

Responsibilities

• Support recycling and conservation projects.
• Participate in recycling routes, e-waste and tire collection.
• Assist with trail building and maintenance.
• Perform fence building and repair work.
• Weed abatement activities.
