White Oak Conservation seeks a Carpenter to join our Maintenance team, dedicated to building, maintaining, and installing structures and fixtures across the property. You will work with a variety of wood and composite materials, following blueprints and safety standards in diverse settings.

The role emphasizes residential and light commercial construction, with opportunities to perform roofing, painting, and associated carpentry tasks while contributing to conservation efforts on a 600-acre site

Qualifications

• Four years plus experience in residential carpentry and building.
• Educational certificates are preferred.
• Certificates of competency in carpentry are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs residential and light commercial construction.
• Reads and interprets blueprints for structural concepts.
• Builds or repairs cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, trim work, decks, walkways, or other wooden fixtures.
