Job summary

First Onsite Property Restoration is seeking a Carpenter I to join our skilled restoration team. You'll learn from experienced tradespeople while supporting a variety of rebuild projects, delivering quality workmanship that helps families and businesses recover.

On a typical day you will assist with framing, drywall, painting, flooring, and finishing work, prepare and clean sites, handle materials, and operate hand and power tools safely.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in construction, carpentry, or restoration.
• Basic knowledge of carpentry, building maintenance, and job site safety practices.
• Proficient with mobile devices and basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Reliable, hardworking, eager to learn from experienced professionals.
• Valid full class driver’s license and clear driving record to the extent required.
• Fit test and other safety certifications.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and participate in rotating on-call schedule.
• Ability to handle materials, lifting, climbing, and PPE use including respirators.

Responsibilities

• Assist with framing, drywall, painting, flooring, and finishing work.
• Prepare and clean job sites, handle materials, and operate hand and power tools safely.
• Assist with installation and repair work, ensuring quality and safety standards.
• Communicate with supervisor and stay organized throughout projects.
• Support on-site tasks including demolition or emergency repairs when needed.
