Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a friendly, motivated Customer Service Representative in Haltom City, TX. You will be the face of our service, assisting customers, managing rentals with U-Scan, and ensuring equipment is safe and ready for use. Training and certification opportunities are provided.

The role involves loading/unloading, inspecting vehicles, and answering questions to support customers on their journeys. A journeyman-style on-the-job education program is available.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States (employer sponsorship not available).

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered after employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered after employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education via U-Haul University.
