Summit Spine & Joint Centers in Dalton, GA seeks a Full-Time Sedation Registered Nurse to provide conscious sedation in outpatient surgical cases. The role requires a GA RN license, BLS/ACLS, and prior sedation experience.

You will support ASC operations, monitor patients, and collaborate with physicians to ensure safe, high-quality care. The position emphasizes compassionate patient care, teamwork, and adherence to evidence-based protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing for Georgia (GA)
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• ER or ICU nursing experience strongly preferred
• Prior conscious sedation experience required
• Familiarity with medical software and clinical equipment

Responsabilités

• Provide conscious sedation services for outpatient surgical cases
• Manage care of assigned patients with clinical judgment and appropriate documentation
• Deliver patient care using evidence-based guidelines
• Monitor patient condition, administer medications, document encounters
• Communicate with physicians and specialists regarding patient care
• Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Develop care plans and provide emotional support to patients and families
• Maintain professionalism, handle workload and apply de-escalation procedures
