Job summary

Optimum is seeking enthusiastic Retail Sales Consultants to join our in-store team in Wappingers Falls, NY. You will connect with customers, understand their needs, and present our connectivity solutions while aiming to exceed sales targets.

You will act as a brand ambassador, delivering exceptional customer service and building lifelong relationships with customers at one of the largest sales channels in the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of retail selling experience.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Proficient computer and technical skills.
• Ability to travel to other stores within 35 miles may be required.
• Standing for prolonged periods and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Full-time availability including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Connection builder: You will be the first point of contact for our customers and create a positive, welcoming environment. Guide customers to find the right products and services.
• Store Expert: Stay up to date with product offerings and telecom trends to educate customers and recommend the best options.
• Problem Solver: Assist customers with billing and service questions, process payments, and troubleshoot issues.
• Brand Ambassador: Represent the Optimum brand with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm in all interactions.
• Team Builder: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure an exceptional customer experience and provide backup support when needed.
