Qualifications

• Active SECRET clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

• Knowledge of DoD/DoD organizations and budget process.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support legislative and congressional activities and engagements for a large DoD S&T portfolio.
• Serve as a liaison between senior executives, technical directors, and stakeholders to coordinate congressional requirements.
• Track, report, and support development of congressional communications and requirements (briefings, white papers, testimonies).
• Develop decision-quality materials for meetings with DoD leadership and members of Congress.
• Research and evaluate legislation to determine programmatic and operational impacts to S&T programs.
• Assist in developing responses to GAO reports and other statutory/regulatory requirements.
• Provide quick, accurate research and analytical support on programmatic and legislative information.
