Job summary

Leeward Renewable Energy (LRE) is seeking a Transmission and Congestion Associate who will lead and support modeling transmission systems and pricing congestion risks across our portfolio. This role is essential in implementing the LRE Congestion Plan and will involve collaboration with numerous teams to drive effective market strategies.

Ideal candidates will possess 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, a STEM or business degree, and proficiency in power flow modeling tools. The position will offer hybrid flexibility, requiring in-office presence at least three days a week.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years’ experience in congestion, transmission, or energy market analytics.
• Strong understanding of transmission systems and drivers of nodal pricing.
• Experience with FTR auctions across multiple ISOs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Model and price congestion fundamentals in multiple ISOs.
• Manage large data sets to identify trading opportunities.
• Maintain and calibrate power flow optimization models.
