Job summary

Silicon Forest Electronics, a subsidiary of Impact Electronic Solutions, is looking for an experienced Conformal Coating Operator to apply protective conformal coatings to PCBAs. You will own the full coating workflow from masking and material prep to spray application, curing, inspection, and rework, ensuring adherence to IPC-A-610, IPC-CC-830, and J-STD-001 standards.

Qualifications

• Experience operating conformal coating processes on PCBAs.
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610, IPC-CC-830, and J-STD-001.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret routing sheets.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings to mask components.
• Perform manual spray or brush coating to ensure coverage.
• Measure, mix, and apply conformal coating materials.
• Operate curing ovens with correct temperature profiles and dwell times.
• Conduct visual/UV inspections for coating quality and defects.
• Perform rework and touch-ups to correct coating issues.
• Maintain spray equipment and monitor inventory using FIFO.
