• Composing concise, accurate, and organized reports of research results to attorneys and others.
• Assisting in maintaining a confidential internal database of client information and related matters.
• Providing on-call coverage on weekends and holidays as needed.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
• Upholding high standards of confidentiality and integrity with sensitive information.

The Direct Hire Division of Consilio, LLC is working with a highly regarded firm that is seeking to hire a Conflicts Researcher to join their Los Angeles or San Francisco office, working primarily remote. This position is not with Consilio directly; it is a direct hire, permanent opportunity with the law firm.

About the Role:

A highly esteemed AMLAW firm is looking for a Conflicts Researcher to join their team! The role must be based in San Francisco or Los Angeles and will require in-office presence the first week of employment; however, the role will be predominantly remote from there on. Some responsibilities include:

• Running thorough and accurate conflicts reports in connection with the intake of new business or new hires to the Firm. This includes: conducting extensive corporate research; using multiple software tools and the internet; liaising with lawyers and secretaries to obtain a complete set of information about incoming work, such as identifying parties and the nature of the matter; and crafting appropriate search terms when all corporate and individual names are gathered, running searches in the Firm's proprietary database and filtering results for relevance.
• Composing concise, accurate, and organized reports of research results to attorneys and
• others in a timely manner.
• Assisting in the maintenance of a confidential internal database of information about firm
• clients and all related parties to specific matters.
• Providing on-call coverage on weekends and holidays as needed.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
• Upholding high standards of confidentiality, discretion, and integrity, particularly with respect to all sensitive and/or confidential firm and client information to which this position will have access.

About You:

This is an entry level position that is open to bright recent graduates who are open to working for at least two years prior to law school or other full-time commitments. Candidates with strong research-based internship experience, entry level law firm experience, or direct conflicts experience. Additional qualifications include:
