Job summary

O’Melveny & Myers LLP in Dallas seeks a Conflicts Analyst to support New Business and Lateral New Hire workflows. You will identify, review, and resolve conflicts of interest, working closely with attorneys and the Engagement Management team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • At least three years’ conflicts analysis with new business or lateral new hire reviews.
  • Experience with Intapp Open, Intapp Walls, NetDocs, or similar risk management software.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
  • Able to communicate with attorneys and staff to obtain information for conflicts clearance.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Willing to work flexible and extended hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and finalize conflict check reports for attorneys and staff.
  • Analyze requests for New Business conflicts and gather required information.
  • Oversee conflicts review for lateral hires, summarizing reports and advising attorneys.
  • Research prospective clients and entities to summarize steps for conflicts clearance.
  • Update conflicts and financial databases and verify data accuracy.
  • Communicate with Conflicts Attorneys to discuss reports and resolutions.
  • Assist in training team members and complete special projects.
