Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in legal conflicts, new business intake, legal administration, compliance, or a related field.
• Experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to exercise discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal database systems.

Responsibilities

• Review and process new client and matter intake requests.
• Perform conflict-of-interest searches and analyze results for potential ethical or business conflicts.
• Coordinate with attorneys and staff to gather information necessary for conflict resolution.
• Prepare conflict reports and document findings accurately.
• Maintain accurate records within the firm's intake and conflicts management systems.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and professional responsibility standards.
• Communicate effectively with attorneys, legal support teams, and administrative staff regarding intake and conflict matters.
• Prioritize and manage multiple requests while meeting established deadlines.
• Support ongoing process improvement initiatives within the conflicts and intake department.
