Job summary

Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP seeks a Conflicts Attorney to analyze conflicts for new business and lateral hires and advise lawyers on conflicts issues. You will independently research, draft waivers, and resolve conflicts while ensuring ethical compliance across jurisdictions.

Role requires licensing to practice in the relevant state(s), strong writing and research skills, and the ability to collaborate with colleagues across U.S. and international offices.

Qualifications

• Qualified candidate must be licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction(s).
• 3+ years of legal practice experience.
• Strong research and writing skills and ability to handle complex conflicts issues.

Responsibilities

• Analyze conflicts of interest on new business and lateral hires and draft waivers and engagement letters.
• Advise firm lawyers on conflicts-of-interest issues.
• Perform legal research and prepare memoranda for General Counsel and firm committees.
• Identify issues in complex factual situations and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with personnel across U.S. and international offices.
