Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP is seeking a qualified Conflicts Attorney to analyze conflicts for new business and lateral hires, advise on conflicts of interest, and ensure compliance with ethical standards across jurisdictions. You will draft waivers, perform legal research, and support firm lawyers and committees.

The role requires a JD, three years of practice, and active standing in the bar, with the ability to work with international offices and adapt to changing requirements.

Competenze

• Juris Doctorate and a minimum of three years of legal practice experience.
• Active member in good standing in any jurisdiction.
• Strong working knowledge of the rules governing professional responsibility.
• Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure in a busy law firm setting.

Mansioni

• Analyze conflicts of interest on new business and lateral hires and draft waivers.
• Advise firm lawyers on conflicts-of-interest issues.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda for General Counsel, lawyers, and committees.
• Assess complex factual situations and identify potential problems.
• Draft engagement letters and waivers; negotiate between lawyers to resolve conflicts.
• Attend to duties during regular hours and as needed to support international offices.
