Job summary

Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP is seeking a Conflicts Analyst for its Conflicts Team in Dallas or Houston. This role supports attorneys, paralegals, and staff, ensuring conflicts workflows run accurately and on time.

The position emphasizes detail-driven processes, data management, and collaboration with the Conflicts Department and firm administration. Hybrid work is offered with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum of three years’ administrative, data entry, or records experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
• Experience with automated conflicts or new business intake systems; Intapp Open is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
• Ability to follow established procedures and escalate when needed.
• Solid written and oral communication with attorneys and staff at all levels.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage high-volume requests with tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning new systems.

Responsibilities

• Logs conflicts clearance in the document management system and conflicts database, including waivers and electronic files.
• Runs limited conflicts searches per department procedures.
• Verifies and maintains party, client, and matter data for accuracy and consistency.
• Escalates potential or complex conflicts to the team or leadership.
• Maintains organized records of requests, search results, waivers, and related correspondence.
• Tracks status of open requests and provides updates to attorneys and staff.
• Assists with departmental reporting, data clean-up, and other admin tasks.
