Job summary

Brown Rudnick LLP is seeking a Senior Conflicts & Risk Analyst to join the Intake & Conflicts Team in the United States. The role focuses on identifying and resolving conflicts of interest for new clients and matters, collaborating with Attorneys and staff, and providing risk mitigation strategies.

The candidate will conduct complex conflict searches, perform due diligence, and ensure compliance with professional conduct rules. Strong analytical and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years of legal conflicts experience in a high-volume environment, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of US ethical rules of professional conduct as they relate to conflicts of interest.
• Web-based research for conflict checking purposes (InTapp and Aderant).
• Knowledge of legal search databases and accurate typing skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Research, identify, and resolve conflicts of interest for new clients and matters.
• Collaborate with Conflicts Attorneys to resolve complex conflict issues and understand client engagements.
• Partner with attorneys and Assistants to understand conflicts needs and provide service.
• Lead and assist with large searches involving large data sets under tight deadlines.
• Manage multiple projects, stay organized, and respond to time-sensitive emails.
• Assist in conflict searches for marketing purposes or other requests as assigned.
• Analyze client engagement terms and provide analyses where needed.
• Deliver due diligence reviews for financial and compliance purposes.
• Maintain client and matter data, update databases and ensure integrity.
• Conduct sanctions searches and share pertinent information with firm departments.
• Maintain ethical screens upon request related to confidentiality and conflicts.
