Job summary

Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in New York seeks a Conflicts Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the Conflicts Department within the Risk team. The role includes managing a team of conflicts analysts and coordinating with Conflict Attorneys and senior partners to maintain efficient onboarding and matter intake processes.

You will hire, train, and mentor staff, develop standardized procedures, and drive process improvements across conflicts workflows and related systems.

Qualifications

• B.A. required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in conflicts with leadership experience.
• Expert knowledge of conflicts management and new business intake platforms, preferably Intapp.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Set high level goals and processes for the conflicts team with senior Risk attorneys.
• Manage a team of conflict analysts based in New York and London, prioritizing and tracking requests.
• Oversee end-to-end conflicts workflow within the business intake process.
• Lead training and mentorship for conflicts analysts, including onboarding and performance feedback.
• Develop procedures, training materials, templates, and escalation protocols for consistent practices.
