Job summary

Connection is seeking a Technician 2 in the Configuration lab to upgrade and configure computer systems and other products ordered by customers, ranging from moderate to advanced complexity. You will work under direct supervision of the Team Leader Integration Center.

The role emphasizes following work instructions, ensuring hardware and software compatibility, and supporting Technician 1. You'll perform assigned duties and participate in special projects in a fast-paced IT environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to absorb and apply newly learned technical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to create documents or simple spreadsheets.
• Experience configuring computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs moderate to advanced configuration with minimal supervision.
• Ensures hardware/software on the customer’s system is compatible and up to date; supports Technician 1.
• Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
