Job summary

Connection is seeking a Technician 2, Configuration to upgrade and configure computer systems and other products ordered by customers, ranging from moderate to advanced complexity. You will operate under supervision, following established procedures and work instructions.

The role emphasizes hands-on configuration, hardware and software compatibility checks, and collaboration with others in the configuration lab to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• A+ Certification and additional certs such as Net+ or Server+ are preferred.
• Hands-on experience configuring computer systems and software.

Responsibilities

• Performs moderate to advanced configuration jobs with minimal assistance following Work Instruction Documents.
• Ensures hardware/software installed is compatible and at the correct version level.
• Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
