Job summary

RESPEC is seeking a Configuration Manager to lead configuration management for complex enterprise engineering systems, software applications, and CAD/PLM environments in Albuquerque. You will establish CMPs, baselines, change-control, traceability, and audit-ready documentation, coordinating with engineering, software, QA, cybersecurity, and operations teams to ensure controlled releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• CM experience in complex enterprise environments; 5–15 years depending on seniority.
• CM certifications (CMPIC, ITIL, NDIA) are a plus.
• Experience with PLM/CAD or ALM/DevOps toolchains is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain Configuration Management Plans (CMPs) for enterprise systems and software.
• Lead Change Control Boards (CCBs) including tracking and action items.
• Maintain configuration baselines for software, hardware, and documentation.
• Ensure traceability across life cycles and audit readiness for complex applications.
• Coordinate CM activities across PLM, CAD data-management, ALM, DevOps, and QA teams.
• Manage records for configuration items, baseline updates, and release packages.
• Support software upgrades, integrations, releases, deployments, and post-deployment validation.
