Job summary

TCS Govcon LLC in Indiana is seeking a mid-level Configuration Manager to support a DoD program at NSWC Crane. You will own day-to-day CM activities for a small arms hardware platform, manage baselines in iPDM, and help migrate data into Windchill.

On-site five days a week, you will chair or support the CCB, process ECPs and RFDs, and collaborate with engineers and logistics. The role offers mentorship from experienced staff and a path to full CM ownership.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Hands-on experience with iPDM workflows and baselines.
• Working knowledge of PTC Windchill and CM workflows.
• Demonstrated CM practitioner experience in hardware programs.
• On-site work at NSWC Crane, Indiana, five days per week.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day CM identification, control, status accounting, and audits for a hardware platform.
• Administer baselines in iPDM and help transition program data/workflows into Windchill.
• Process ECPs, RFDs, and RFWs; chair or support the Configuration Control Board and document decisions.
• Manage drawing release, revision control, part numbering, and naming per MIL-STD-31000 and DoD CM guidance.
• Conduct FCA/PCA and support program milestone reviews.
• Generate and track CDRL/SDRL deliverables and interface with the prime contractor's CM office.
• Collaborate daily with engineers, technicians, quality, and logistics across two Crane ranges.
• Shadow the CM lead during a 6–12 month transition and progressively own the CM function.
