Job summary

Noblis MSD seeks Configuration Management Specialists to support Navy afloat and ashore tactical networks in San Diego, CA. You will manage hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software CM while interfacing with the CCB, PTRB, and CIB to ensure proper baselines and documentation.

Responsibilities include developing CMPs, managing ECRs/EPRs, and ensuring change status accounting across ADNS, CANES, ISNS, and related platforms.

• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Experience with DoD configuration management processes and tools (CMPRO).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements.
• Some travel may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Manage configuration management issues for all hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software CM.
• Work with the Configuration Control Board (CCB), Platform Technical Review Board (PTRB), and Change Implementation Board (CIB).
• Define and implement procedures for releasing new products throughout the system lifecycle.
• Provide change management and product configuration management guidance.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Configuration Management Plans (CMP) per ANSI/EIA-649 and NAVWAR CM Policies.
• Establish and maintain Government-approved functional, allocated, product, and as-installed baselines.
• Process Enterprise Change Requests (ECRs), Enterprise Problem Reports (EPRs), Service Request Forms (SRFs), and deviation requests through Government CM systems.
• Provide configuration status accounting delineating status of changes, proposed changes, and implementation of approved changes.
• Support Functional Configuration Audits (FCA) and Physical Configuration Audits (PCA).
• Administer COTS Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) web-based CMPRO database.
• Maintain baseline documents including specifications, drawings, test procedures, and technical manuals.
• Ensure only approved changes are reflected in baseline documentation.
