Job summary

Nightwing is seeking a seasoned Configuration Manager to lead baselines, version control, and CM processes across environments in the National Capital Region or San Antonio. This role implements SAFe and DevSecOps practices to support the team's ability to deliver frequent, reliable releases.

Required: 7+ years in configuration management, a relevant bachelor's degree (or equivalent), strong Git and version-control experience, and DoD CM knowledge.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of configuration management experience
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (or equivalent substitution)
• Strong knowledge of Git and version control best practices
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, or similar)
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies
• Understanding of software development lifecycle
• Experience with configuration management tools and databases
• Knowledge of DoD configuration management requirements
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Must be U.S. citizen

Salary & Benefits

The salary associated with this position ($77,000–$163,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
