Qualifications

• 14+ years of software development and architecture experience.
• Experience with enterprise-grade distributed systems and cloud-native tech.
• Knowledge of microservices, containers, and multi-cloud environments.
• Familiar with UML 2.x and architecture documentation standards.
• Experience in offensive cyber operations or related mission areas (5+ years).
• U.S. citizen with active TS/SCI clearance.

Nightwing is seeking an experience Technical Lead. The Technical Lead is responsible for establishing architectural direction and engineering solutions for the unified AMS/FIPE platform. This position requires deep expertise in enterprise-grade system architecture, microservices development, and cloud-native technologies. The Technical Lead ensures technical coherence across all development efforts, defines engineering standards, and guides the team in implementing scalable, secure, and resilient solutions that meet mission requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and maintain system architecture for unified AMS/FIPE solution
• Establish technical direction and engineering best practices
• Lead development of system design documentation and architectural artifacts
• Guide implementation of microservices architecture and containerization strategies
• Ensure alignment with Government enterprise architecture standards
• Provide technical oversight for DevSecOps pipeline implementationReview and approve technical design decisions
• Mentor development team on advanced technical concepts
• Participate in technical exchange meetings and code reviews
• Support integration with Government platform services (Kubernetes, service mesh, etc.)

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 14 years of software development and architecture experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent substitution)
• Demonstrated expertise developing enterprise-grade distributed systems
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Python, Java, Go, or similar)
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native technologies and multi-cloud environments
• Experience with workflow orchestration engines and automation platforms
• Familiarity with UML 2.x and architecture documentation standards
• 5+ years of experience in offensive cyber operations or related mission areas
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Must be U.S. citizen

Salary & Benefits

The salary associated with this position ($122,000-$253,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
