Job summary

Red Arch Solutions seeks a Configuration Manager in Annapolis Junction, MD to manage CM across development and production, establishing baselines and enforcing CM policies. This role collaborates with development and operations teams to ensure traceability and proper change control.

Qualified candidates have TS/SCI with Polygraph, 8 years CM experience or equivalent, and a technical or business degree; masters can substitute for experience.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
• Eight years of CM experience in programs of similar scope.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline is required.
• Master’s degree may substitute for two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee configuration management for developmental and operational systems.
• Create and maintain configuration baselines (development, test, production).
• Assess and implement automated CM tools to enforce CM policies.
• Develop or modify CM plans, policies, and procedures for system complexity.
• Enforce CM discipline across the entire system life cycle from requirements to end-of-life.

Job description

Red Arch Solutions is seeking a Configuration Manager in Annapolis Junction, Maryland.

Position Description:

• Responsible for configuration management (CM) of developmental and operational systems.
• Works on developmental and operational teams to create and maintain configuration baselines (development, test, production, etc.) supporting developmental and operational systems.
• Uses or recommends automated CM tools to implement CM policies and procedures.
• Develops or modifies CM plans, policies, and procedures tailored to the complexity and scope of the developmental or operational system.
• Implement CM discipline for the entire life cycle of systems from initial requirements/capabilities baselines to system end-of-life.
• Perform change control and configuration audits.

Basic Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Eight (8) years’ experience as a CM in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional CM experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. A Master’s degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, thereby reducing the total years of experience to six (6).

Salary range for this position: $125,000 - 132,000 #CJ
