Job summary

Acro Service Corp is seeking a Configuration Analyst 1 to plan and coordinate project documentation, including engineering drawings, BOMs, and change records. The role supports manufacturing and contract requirements with attention to detail and teamwork.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, familiarity with ERP/PLM/MES systems, and experience with BOMs, ECNs/ECRs, and configuration data. Strong reading, writing, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of ERP, PLM, and MES systems and how they support configuration management and manufacturing.
• Familiarity with configuration data (part numbers, BOMs, routings) and change control concepts.
• Proficiency with standard office tools (e.g., Excel, Word) for tracking and reporting configuration data.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation (e.g., drawings, specifications, work instructions).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.

Preferred Qualifications for Configuration Analyst 1

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• Hands-on experience using one or more enterprise tools (e.g., SAP or other ERP; Teamcenter or other PLM; MES or similar shop-floor systems)
• Exposure to configuration management, product lifecycle management, or manufacturing operations in an aerospace/defense or similar regulated environment
• Experience working with bills of material (BOMs), part structures, or engineering change notices (ECNs/ECRs)
• Basic understanding of configuration management standards and practices (e.g., change control, baselines, revisions)
