Job summary

Ntech Solutions is seeking an onsite Configuration Analyst 1 to support our Configuration Management team at a facility in Elkton, MD. The role focuses on documenting and controlling product configurations, bill of materials, and change records to meet contract requirements.

Responsibilities include coordinating project documentation, reviewing changes, and ensuring proper change control with ERP/PLM/MES systems. A bachelor’s degree and strong attention to detail are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic understanding of ERP, PLM, and MES systems and how they support configuration management and manufacturing.
• Familiarity with configuration data (part numbers, BOMs, routings) and change control concepts.
• Proficiency with standard office tools (Excel, Word) for tracking configuration data.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation (e.g., drawings, specifications, work instructions).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

• Establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor.
• Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.

• Work Schedule: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m

Preferred Certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• Hands-on experience using one or more enterprise tools (e.g., SAP or other ERP; Teamcenter or other PLM; MES or similar shop-floor systems)
• Exposure to configuration management, product lifecycle management, or manufacturing operations in an aerospace/defense or similar regulated environment
• Experience working with bills of material (BOMs), part structures, or engineering change notices (ECNs/ECRs)
• Basic understanding of configuration management standards and practices (e.g., change control, baselines, revisions)
