Job summary

Averro is seeking a senior Configuration Management leader to own and establish the configuration management function for a next-generation nuclear technology program. This role demands building a CM framework, defining baselines across hardware, software, and documentation, and leading change control from intake through disposition.

You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality to ensure teams operate from approved design information, drive audits and lifecycle traceability,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, or related field.
• 15+ years CM experience in hardware/engineering CM.
• Regulated industries such as nuclear, aerospace, or defense.
• Experience writing CM plans and managing engineering baselines for physical products.
• Experience establishing a CM framework with limited existing structure.
• Teamcenter or comparable PLM experience.
• Familiarity with CM standards such as EIA-649, CMII, or NQA-1.

Pay Range: $185K - $210K DOE

Our client is building next-generation nuclear technology and looking for a senior Configuration Management leader to own and establish their configuration management function. If you have built a CM framework before and know what good looks like, this might be the perfect opportunity for you!

What You Will Do

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field; other bachelor's degrees considered for candidates with the right experience
• 15+ years of dedicated configuration management experience in hardware and engineering CM
• Background in a regulated industry such as nuclear, aerospace, or defense
• Demonstrated experience writing and implementing CM plans and managing engineering baselines for physical products
• Experience establishing a CM framework with limited existing structure
• Teamcenter or comparable PLM experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with CM standards such as EIA-649, CMII, or NQA-1 a plus
