Job summary
Eaton’s Electrical Critical Power Solutions Division in Richmond, VA seeks a Configuration Analyst to support engineering data, part number creation and BOM management within the ERP system. You will develop and maintain engineering documents, ensure revision control, and enable timely access across Quality, Procurement and Customer Service.
The role requires strong attention to detail, ability to work cross-functionally, and familiarity with PLM and PDM tools; a related degree or experience in
Qualifications
- Must read technical documents, mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
- 2-year associate’s degree or 2 years related experience preferred.
- Experience with PLM/ERP/PDM tools and BOM management is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support Engineering Teams with releasing documents and updating them in ERP system.
- Ensure all engineering documents are revision-controlled and accurate.
- Examine engineering documents for completeness and correctness.
- Collaborate with engineers to resolve discrepancies and implement ECNs.
- Support part number creation and updates using PDM tools.
- Generate and update BOMs for ETO and CTO product lines.
- Distribute engineering documents to other departments in a timely manner.
