Qualifications

• Six (6) years of experience in configuration management and version control on programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university (or four (4) additional years of CM experience in lieu of degree).
• Experience implementing and managing hardware and software configuration baselines and version control systems.
• If supporting a developmental program: at least one (1) year of experience using a source code control system (e.g., Git, SVN, or equivalent) in a similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and enforcement of hardware and software version control processes, policies, and procedures.
• Establish and maintain configuration baselines and ensure proper versioning of all configuration items (CIs).
• Manage end-to-end configuration control processes, including change tracking, impact analysis, approvals, and audit readiness.
• Utilize configuration management tools (e.g., DOORS, Eclipse) to store, track, and manage configuration items.
• Support build, integration, testing, and release environments, ensuring configuration integrity and traceability.
• Develop and document CM processes, including automated build and release procedures aligned with standards.
