Jovian Concepts, LLC in the Annapolis Junction, MD area seeks a Systems Engineer Level 1 with a current TS/SCI clearance and MD polygraph for mission-critical national security work.

The role involves designing, integrating, testing, and deploying data center solutions for satellite collection systems, with collaboration across hardware, software, and RF domains. A Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience are required.

Jovian Concepts, LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer Level 1 for an exciting opportunity in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. At Jovian Concepts, our people drive our success. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: A current and active TS/SCI clearance with a Maryland (MD) polygraph is required for consideration. CCA candidates will not be considered for this position at this time.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design, integration, testing, and deployment of data center solutions for satellite collection-based systems, incorporating Hardware, GOTS, COTS, and LOOPERS and/or TURNWEALTHY solutions.
• Contribute to systems engineering activities across hardware, software, network, and RF components to ensure operational performance and interoperability.
• Assist in the development and integration of Radio Frequency (RF) and signal processing systems for communication system applications.
• Support system requirements analysis, architecture development, verification, and validation activities.
• Participate in system integration testing, troubleshooting, and performance evaluation to ensure compliance with technical and mission requirements.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including system engineering artifacts, test plans, interface control documents, and configuration management records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support lifecycle sustainment activities, including integration of GOTS, COTS, and TURNWEALTHY systems.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven (7) years of Systems Engineering experience on programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related technical discipline. Five (5) additional years of Systems Engineering experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
