Job summary

The American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) seeks a Manager, Conferences & Online Learning to lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of ASAM’s signature education programs. You will work with planning committees, faculty, and ASAM staff to ensure high-quality live and online courses that meet CE and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities include managing project timelines, coordinating content, overseeing maintenance and reporting, and ensuring learner satisfaction across programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience planning and supporting live courses.
• Experience coordinating volunteers, committees, faculty, and members.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, development, execution, and post-program evaluation of courses and programs.
• Develop timelines, work plans, and production schedules for delivery.
• Coordinate with planning committees and faculty to update live and online content.
• Support online courses through maintenance, marketing, and reporting.
• Track key metrics like registration and learner feedback while ensuring CE compliance.
• Collaborate with education, marketing, meetings, membership, and tech teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and outcomes.
• Provide professional support to learners and participants.
• Occasional travel (1–3 trips/year) for on-site management and support.
• Handle special projects to meet evolving needs of the Education Department.
