We are hiring immediately for a full-time CONFERENCE SERVICES ATTENDANT position.

Location: Cap Group - 12811 North Meridian Street, Carmel, IN 46032. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirements: Previous catering experience and Microsoft Office experience are preferred but not required.

Pay Range: $17.00 to $18.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Ensures all meeting rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest professional standards and all meeting requirements are met prior to start.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Moves and arranges tables, chairs, and linens for events.
2. Sets up additional items like flipcharts, whiteboards, screens, etc.
3. Prepares conference rooms with necessary materials.
4. Refreshes rooms between meetings.
5. Provides prompt service as scheduled or upon request.
6. Maintains communication with clients, guests, and team members via phone and email.
7. Assists visitors and provides directions and escorts as needed.
8. Shares updated information with co-workers and service partners.
9. Recommends room setups and collaborates on solutions for setup challenges.
10. Conducts weekly inspections and contacts departments for service needs.
11. Assists with basic audiovisual equipment.
12. Maintains inventory of supplies and notifies supervisors when low.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Previous customer service or houseman/porter experience preferred.
2. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
3. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. Strong organizational and time management skills.
