Job summary

Starwood Hotels in Austin seeks an exuberant Catering and Conference Services Manager to join the team, driving exceptional events and guest experiences. You will lead by example, energize staff, and collaborate on new projects to inspire teams and guests.

The role focuses on maximizing profit, achieving revenue goals, and supporting financial, business, and marketing objectives for meetings and gatherings at the hotel. Flexibility for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of similar work experience.
• A post‑secondary diploma or degree would be a plus.
• Expertise in Catering & Events with strong leadership, guest engagement and financial performance.

About you

Passionate about hospitality and food & beverage with a minimum of 4 years of similar work experience. A post‑secondary diploma or degree would be a plus. An expert in Catering & Events, a strong leader, natural salesperson and a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance. Excels at communication, both verbal and written. Flexible and willing to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
