Job summary

Starwood Hotels is seeking a Conference Services Manager to lead catering and events programs in our New York property. You will drive guest satisfaction, revenue growth, and collaborative teamwork while managing events from concept to completion.

The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of similar experience, a strong background in Catering & Events, and excellent communication skills. Flexibility for various event schedules including evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of similar work experience.
• Expert in Catering & Events with strong leadership and a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead catering and events programs to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue.
• Collaborate across teams to plan and execute events for meetings, parties and gatherings.
• Manage client relationships and oversee event logistics from concept to completion.

About you...

Passionate about hospitality and food & beverage with a minimum of 4 years of similar work experience.

A post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus.

An expert in Catering & Events, a strong leader, natural salesperson and a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance. Excels at communication, both verbal and written. Flexible and willing to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays

Salary Range: $85,000 -$90,000
