Job summary

Opensity Solutions is seeking a Meeting Support Specialist to set up training and conference rooms to client specifications and provide audio-visual support. The role requires ensuring rooms meet client expectations and assisting floor hosts across floors as needed.

Applicants should have 2–3 years in service industries such as hospitality or events, strong technical skills with Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and A/V gear, and the ability to stay professional and multitask in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience working in a service industry such as Hotel and Restaurant, Hospitality and/or Event Planning preferred
• Must have strong technical skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Google docs, audio/visual equipment)
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Works well in a fast-paced environment
• Good listening and professional demeanor
• Must be able to navigate clients of every professional level.

Responsibilities

• Set up training and conference rooms to client’s specifications noted in diagrams and special event forms
• Move airwalls between training rooms to expand or reduce room size as needed
• Taping Down Wires
• Place training materials on tables as requested
• Cleanup of leftover materials after meetings are completed
• Verify that room requirements meet client’s expectations (lighting, supplies, audio visual equipment, temperature)
• Ensure additional equipment is returned to its storage location when not in use
• Maintain an elevated level of professional appearance and demeanor
• Monitor meeting rooms for participants arriving/leaving with scheduled timing and no-shows
• Provide first point of contact resolution and respond via in-person, email, or phone
