Job summary

The Shredders Corporation is seeking a reliable Route Driver in Pomona, CA. This role involves driving a commercial vehicle on daily routes, loading/shipping shredding materials, and delivering exceptional service to clients along the route.

You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain logs, and ensure secure handling of documents. CDL is a plus, and a clean driving record plus ability to pass background checks is required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; CDL a plus.
• Experience in route driving, delivery, or logistics preferred.
• Strong time management and ability to work independently on routes.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and professionalism.
• Familiarity with the Pomona, CA area a plus; ability to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial vehicle to complete daily routes safely and on time.
• Pick up and transport materials for secure shredding services.
• Load and unload containers and bins at customer locations.
• Provide outstanding customer service and maintain client relationships on route.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections per DOT regulations.
• Complete route logs and chain-of-custody documentation accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of assigned vehicle and equipment.
