Gardner Management in Kalamazoo, MI seeks a Condominium Financial Accountant to manage dues and assessments receivables, coordinate AP coding, and reconcile accounts. You will prepare monthly financial statements and assist with annual budgets for multiple properties in the portfolio.

The role requires organization, teamwork, and the ability to work autonomously. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Business with 1–2 years of relevant experience and proficiency in accounting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business.
• 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office and accounting software.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Ability to maintain organized electronic and paper records.

Responsabilités

• Manage association dues and assessments receivables including remote deposit and ACH collection.
• Coordinate with AP Accountant for proper coding of expenses and timely AP payments.
• Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts monthly.
• Prepare monthly financial statement package with variance analysis per property.
• Assist in annual budget preparation for each property.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
