Mountain Careers LLC. seeks a Condo Inspector & Maintenance Specialist for the Vail Valley, CO area. The role involves condo inspections, repairs, and responsive guest support during the winter season.

You will manage maintenance tasks, coordinate with cleaners, and ensure guest-ready properties. The position requires strong handyman abilities, at least 3 years in property management, and ownership of a personal vehicle.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect condos before arrivals and after departures for cleanliness, condition, safety, supplies, and maintenance needs.
• Complete minor plumbing repairs, hardware adjustments, drywall touch-ups, painting, and other general handyman work; troubleshoot appliances, locks, TVs, and Wi-Fi.
• Address guest maintenance requests promptly and professionally; respond to nighttime emergencies during on-call days.
• Coordinate with cleaners and service vendors, restock supplies, and document inspections, repairs, damage, and follow-up needs.

Condo Inspector & Maintenance Specialist

Strong handyman skills | Vail Valley, Colorado

$55 / HOUR FULL-TIME WINTER SEASON

Join Charlie Rentz this winter to keep our vacation rentals guest-ready through detailed condo inspections, quality repairs, and responsive guest support.

COMPENSATION & SUPPORT

$1,500 end-of-season bonus, paid April 1, 2027.

Company credit card provided for gas, oil changes, and purchasing supplies.

SCHEDULE & AVAILABILITY

• Wednesday-Sunday: Full-time schedule; weekend and holiday work required.

Hours based on business needs: Shift lengths may vary with occupancy and workload. During slower periods, employees may be released early once inspections, maintenance, and guest needs are covered.

Scheduled hours are not guaranteed.

• Nighttime on-call: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.

Must be available to respond to property emergencies. Nighttime calls requiring a visit to a property are paid at time and a half ($82.50/hour).

WHAT YOU’LL DO
