The Building Group in Chicago is seeking an onsite Community Association Manager to oversee a condominium association on North Sheridan Road. You will handle resident questions, coordinate maintenance, supervise vendors, attend board meetings, and inspect the property to ensure compliance with resident expectations.

Ideal candidates have condominium or property management experience, strong financial acumen, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Illinois Community Association Management License required.
• Condominium experience preferred.
• Administrative, customer service and supervisory skills are essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide management services to a condominium association, overseeing residents, vendors, and board interactions.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports.
• Forecast and track operating and capital expenses.
• Supervise capital projects and track income and assessments.
• Use property management software for reporting.
• Maintain knowledge of Illinois Condominium Act and related documents and operate the property accordingly.
• Execute emergency procedures and supervise staff.
