Job summary

RA Holdings is seeking a Concrete Saw Operator for our Ladybug Concrete Specialties branch in the Richmond, VA area. You will set up and operate cutting equipment, transport tools to sites, and perform concrete cutting for demolition, restoration, and new construction projects.

Responsibilities include following plans, maintaining safety, and contributing to high-quality work across commercial, industrial, and government projects.

Qualifications

• Must be physically able to lift, carry and operate tools/equipment weighing 30–50 lbs.
• Clean driving record to qualify for company auto insurance.
• Must have REAL ID Driver’s License for at least 3 years and be able to obtain DBIDS badge.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate concrete saws and cutting equipment to cut concrete, pavement, and structures.
• Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites.
• Perform concrete cutting for demolition, renovation, restoration, repair, and new construction projects.
• Cut floors, walls, pavement, structural concrete, bridges, tunnels, and other concrete structures as needed.
• Assist with concrete restoration, including crack repair, patching, grinding, polishing, and epoxy applications.
• Follow project plans and supervisor instructions to complete work safely and on schedule.
• Inspect, maintain, and properly use all tools and equipment.

Specializing in concrete-cutting, core drilling, joint sealing, grinding and polishing services tailored to the needs of military, commercial, industrial, and government clients. Whether supporting new construction, renovations, or specialized industrial needs, we deliver work that reflects high standards and deep experiences.

Essential Job Duties:

• Set up and operate concrete saws and cutting equipment to cut concrete, pavement, and structures.
• Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites.
• Perform concrete cutting for demolition, renovation, restoration, repair, and new construction projects.
• Cut floors, walls, pavement, structural concrete, bridges, tunnels, and other concrete structures as needed.
• Assist with concrete restoration, including crack repair, patching, grinding, polishing, and epoxy applications.
• Measure and mark cutting locations to ensure accurate work.
• Follow project plans and supervisor instructions to complete work safely and on schedule.
• Inspect, maintain, and properly use all tools and equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and organized throughout the project.
• Use water and other methods to control dust and cool cutting equipment.
• Follow OSHA and all site-specific safety requirements.
• Work on commercial, industrial, data centers, infrastructure, military, and government construction projects as assigned.

Required Skills, Abilities, and Qualifications:

• Physical ability to safely lift, carry, and operate power tools and equipment weighing 30-50 lbs. or more.
• Clean driving record, or no-fault accidents, to qualify for our Company Auto Insurance.
• Must have the REAL ID Driver’s License and must have had it for at least 3 years.
• Must be able to obtain DBIDS military badging which includes a background check.
• Ability to drive to project sites throughout Richmond, Charlottesville, and regional areas.
• Ability to pass a drug test.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday 6:30am-4:00pm

Location:

• Richmond, VA and surrounding areas.

Pay:

• $26-$28hr+ depending on experience
