Job summary

RA Holdings Group, operating through its Ladybug Concrete Specialties branch, seeks a Concrete Polisher to join the team in the Virginia/Norfolk area. The role focuses on grinding, polishing, and finishing concrete surfaces to high-quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of concrete polishing experience, can safely operate heavy polishing equipment, and applies sealers/densifiers per project specs. Local travel to project sites within the 757 area may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in concrete polishing, with 3–5 years minimum.
• Ability to operate heavy polishing equipment safely.
• Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Grind, polish, and finish concrete surfaces to achieve high quality results.

RA Holdings, through our Ladybug Concrete Specialties branch, is looking for a Concrete Polisher to join our team.

Whether supporting new construction, renovations, or specialized industrial needs, we deliver work that reflects high standards and deep experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for grinding, polishing, and finishing concrete surfaces to achieve high-quality, durable, and aesthetically pleasing results.
• This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of concrete finishing techniques, and the ability to operate specialized equipment safely.
• Identifying and fixing damage, filling cracks, and removing old adhesives.
• Utilize specialized floor grinders, dust extraction, various diamond pads (grits), and specific sealers/densifiers.
• Achieving high-gloss finishes through multiple steps, with each stage building on the last.
• Perform surface preparation, including removal of coatings, adhesives, and imperfections, to ensure proper polishing results.
• Apply epoxy, concrete densifiers, stains, dyes, and sealers according to project specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
• Inspect finished surfaces for quality, flatness, and consistency, making repairs as needed to meet appearance and performance standards.

• Follow all safety procedures, including dust control, PPE use, and equipment maintenance, to maintain a clean and compliant job site.
• Proven experience in concrete polishing or related field, with minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
• Ability to operate heavy polishing equipment and hand tools, knowledge of Husqvarna tolling is an advantage.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to obtain DBIDS military badging which includes a background check.
• Must have the REAL ID or ability to obtain one.
• Clean driving record, or no-fault accidents, to qualify for our Company Auto Insurance.
• Ability to drive to project sites within the cities in the 757 area, as well as out-of-area travel
• Ability to pass a drug test.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday 6:30am-4:00pm

Pay:

• $26-$28hr depending on experience
