Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is recruiting for a Concrete Quality Assurance Technician in Alabama. The position requires hands-on quality inspections, daily concrete testing, and strict adherence to safety standards.

A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with ACI/NPCA certifications or the ability to obtain them. Expect a 7:00 AM start and potential overtime, with compensation starting at $17/hr plus BOE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• ACI and NPCA certifications (or ability to obtain).
• Valid driver’s license; must pass drug screen and background check.
• Strong ability to read tape measures and blueprints.
• High attention to detail.
• Must meet physical requirements (kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Reliable transportation; punctual 7:00 AM start.
• Willingness to overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on product forms.
• Conduct pre-pour inspections and verify blueprints for mold setup.
• Monitor and inspect production processes for quality-control compliance.
• Perform daily concrete testing (Slump, Spread, VSI, Air content, Cylinders).
• Document daily testing results and report to management.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.
• Perform additional tasks including housekeeping and cleanup.
