Job summary

Martin Concrete Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex concrete projects from start to finish, coordinating with superintendents, field teams, clients, and leadership to deliver on time and on budget.

You will plan, budget, schedule, supervise change orders, and ensure quality and safety on site while traveling to jobsites as needed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in commercial concrete construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of concrete practices, formwork systems, means, and methods.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to jobsites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage concrete construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Work full-time from assigned job sites as needed, coordinating closely with field teams, clients, and leadership.
• Create and maintain project budgets, schedules, and critical path plans.
• Review project labor costs weekly with Superintendents to ensure budgets are maintained.
• Oversee project productivity, cost control, quality, and safety in line with company policies.
• Coordinate with operations teams on formwork, logistics, schedules, and budgets.
• Communicate regularly with clients to ensure plans, schedules, and expectations are aligned.
• Manage material buyouts and ensure timely delivery to jobsites.
• Prepare and issue change orders, proposals, RFPs, budgets, and preliminary schedules.
• Track project progress, quality of work, and overall performance.
• Attend client and internal meetings and assist with project requirement planning.
• Maintain contract execution logs and manage change notices and documentation.
• Ensure all required project closeout documents are completed.
• Share lessons learned and contribute ideas to improve company processes.
• Keep executive management informed of project status and potential issues.
