Job summary

The Christman Company is seeking a Concrete Project Manager for our Sterling, Virginia region. This role focuses on leading concrete projects from planning through warranty, maintaining client relationships, and coordinating estimating, scheduling, and reporting activities.

Qualified candidates will have a civil engineering or construction management Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of construction experience, plus strong MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Five or more years of construction experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and maintains client relationships to understand project needs from contract through warranty period.
• Coordinates development and delivery of project planning services (estimating, scheduling, value engineering, reporting).
• Establishes project goals related to schedule, safety, accounting, labor relations, and data reporting.
• Manages client relations and clarifies quality standards and priorities per design documents and punch lists.
• Oversees processing of project information documents, change orders, and field communications with proper approvals.
• Coordinates delivery of services with Christman Mid-Atlantic team and contracted trades to ensure quality service.
• Defines project goals and staffing requirements and develops work plans for each phase.
• Establishes subcontract agreements and communicates expectations with trade contractors.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or other relevant course work
