Rinker Materials in Rapid City, SD is seeking a General Laborer to contribute to the production of reinforced concrete products. You will mix and pour concrete, operate mixers and conveyors, and assist with form setups while prioritizing safety and quality.

We value candidates who can read work orders, use hand tools, and work outdoors. Forklift experience and manufacturing background are preferred, with lifting up to 50 pounds and potential forklift use as needed.

Qualifications

• Read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to work outdoors or in open air environments.
• Preferred – experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred – experience operating an industrial forklift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and push/pull 80 pounds; may use forklift/crane for heavier loads.

• Operating machinery and equipment such as concrete mixers and conveyors.
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas.
• Assisting with transportation and placement of concrete forms and molds.
• Loading and unloading materials and supplies.
• Setting up forms in the production process.
• Handling and moving heavy construction materials.
• Following safety protocols and wearing protective gear.
• Adhering to quality control standards for high-quality products.
• Performing other tasks as assigned by management.

We are looking for a GENERAL LABORER to join our RAPID CITY, SD plant. As a general laborer with Rinker Materials, you will contribute to one of the nation's largest manufacturers of reinforced concrete pipe, box, bridge, and other related infrastructure products for stormwater and sanitary applications.

About the Role:

• Adhering to quality control standards to ensure the production of high-quality concrete products.
• Any other miscellaneous tasks assigned by management at any given time and in any given area

About You

We Require:

• Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to work outdoors or in open air environment.
• Preferred – Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred – Experience operating a forklift, especially an industrial forklift.
• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently. Over 50 pounds, a forklift or crane will be used. Must be able to push or pull cart with 80 pounds of force. Must be able to climb stairs and ladders. Must be able to step up 20 inches.
