Job summary

Rinker Materials is seeking a Production Worker for our Albuquerque, NM plant. This general laborer role involves mixing and pouring concrete, operating concrete-related machinery, and ensuring safe, clean work areas.

You will contribute to producing high-quality concrete products for stormwater and sanitary applications while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards. We value dedicated, loyal employees and offer competitive pay plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to work outdoors or in open air environment.
• Preferred - Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred - Experience operating an industrial forklift.
• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently; over 50 pounds, a forklift or crane will be used.

Responsibilities

• Mixing and pouring concrete.
• Operating machinery and equipment, such as concrete mixers and conveyors.
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas.
• Assisting with the transportation and placement of concrete forms and molds.
• Loading and unloading materials and supplies.
• Sets up forms in the manufacturing production process of concrete products.
• Handling and moving heavy construction materials.
• Following safety protocols and wearing appropriate protective gear.
• Adhering to quality control standards to ensure the production of high-quality concrete products.
• Any other miscellaneous tasks assigned by management at any given time and in any given area
