Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is seeking an operator to run and maintain concrete production machinery at our Tracy, CA facility. You will monitor Rekers handling equipment, adjust settings, and ensure smooth production flow.

The role requires 2+ years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to read procedures. Physical stamina for lifting up to 75 lbs and working in dusty, hot or cold conditions is essential. We offer competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years operating similar concrete handling equipment.
• Ability to read and comprehend safety procedures and operation instructions.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in dusty/hot/cold conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain concrete handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect product quality according to standards and adjust settings as needed.
• Detect and report equipment malfunctions to Plant Supervisor.
• Assist in maintaining accurate production flow and reporting.
• Perform machine clean-up, setup, and duties related to product changes.
• Execute daily and business fundamentals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Plant Manager, Supervisor, and Lead Machine Operator.
• Cross-train on other aspects of the production process.
